  • I was a goalkeeper in field hockey and played for my district
  • I have only ever been to one school in my life, so going to America would be a huge change but a change I am looking forward to.
  • I have never broken a bone, well touch wood!
  • I was born in Cape Town, and then moved to Johannesburg when I was 5
  • Currently, I live on a plot( basically a smaller version of a farm). Here we have geese, rabbits , peacocks, and even an emu and ostrich.

Why do you want to study in the USA?
Studying in America has always been a dream for me. South Africa is a beautiful country and it is my home, however, I do not see a future for myself. I do see a future for myself in America, and it would be a dream come true if I could study there.

If you weren’t a softball player what would you be?
I would probably be playing another sport. I have always loved the sport. At school, I played field hockey, swimming, netball, and athletics, but softball was my main sport. So if I didn’t play softball I’d probably be playing one of the other sports.
