ABOUT

Ewan joins us as a swimmer from the prestigious and very well known Guildford City Swimming Club.  Ewan is a top prospect - he has been a part of the British Maccabiah team that participated at the 2017 Maccabiah games. Ewan has his sights set on an Economics major and we are looking forward to helping him get to some of the top swimming and academic universities in the USA.

  1. Why do you want to study in the USA?

Studying in the USA greatly appeals to me as it is an opportunity to combine my studies and swimming at the highest level. The support provided by colleges is something which can be difficult to find in the UK and will enable me to develop personally, gain a quality degree and experience other cultures.

  1. Who is your role model?

My role model is Duncan Scott as he is a young successful British sprinter with a great personality.

  1. Who is your favourite all-time swimmer?

Anthony Ervin is my all-time favourite swimmer due to his inspirational victories in 2000 and 2016, it was also brilliant to have raced with him at the Maccabiah Games.

  1. What do you want to study and why?

I would like to continue studying Economics. I find it extremely interesting especially in the current global environment.

  1. The greatest venue you have swum in and why?

The greatest venue I have swum in is the London Aquatics Centre as it is an amazing building that has hosted so many great swimmers and competitions.
