FAQ
  1. Which institutions are searching for student-athletes?

Our university database covers the entire U.S. We have different athletic demand in all regions, enabling us to filter the universities that best fit each individual athlete and their expectations.

  1. How does the BRUSA Sports UK programme work?

The main focus of our programme is to find the ideal university for each student. According to each individual profile, we search our network of universities and colleges to find those which best suit our student's needs and expectations.

Before starting to work with BRUSA Sports UK, athletes take part in an athletic evaluation (either on local or via video).

In the case that they want to continue the process, a contract is signed and fee paid, and we send the athletic evaluation (with videos) and transcripts to colleges and universities. We negotiate both athletic and academic scholarships and present all offers to the student-athlete. After a decision is made by the athlete we start the enrollment process with the university.

  1. Which universities does BRUSA work with?

All universities in the U.S. Our job is not to “fit” the athlete in one specific institution with which we may have a partnership , but to find all universities that fit in with what the athlete wants, as well as his/her profile (programme, location, campus size, academic level, scholarship, costs, etc.).

  1. Are there 100% scholarships (Full Rides)?

Yes, there are 100% scholarships, it all depends on the athletic level and grades of the athlete.

  1. How long is a scholarship valid for?

Scholarships are renewed on a yearly basis. To increase or keep the scholarship the student must keep good grades (with a minimum GPA of 3.0) as well as a good athletic performance.

  1. If I’m already studying at a university in my country, am I able to transfer my programme to the US?

Yes. Depending on the programme the student is taking we can send his/her transcripts to an approved educational institution that evaluates the transcript curriculum with the university. After the evaluation is complete some credits will be considered however some may have to be taken again.

  1. When do the classes start?

The classes start in either August or January, and some institutions offer summer classes in May.

  1. When should I start to work with BRUSA?

The preparation period takes from 6 months to one year, so it’s good to plan to start with at least six months before the desired initial semester start date.

  1. Is there an age limit for a student to participate on BRUSA Sports program?

It depends on the league that the athlete is willing to participate. Athletes over 25 years old are not allowed on NCAA Divisions I and II but are allowed on division  III and NAIA

No! BRUSA Sports is not an agent, we are there to help you the student-athlete find your perfect university and assist in gaining the scholarships that you deserve.

Please see the NCAA rule regarding this.
